West Palm Beach, FL – Sinclair Broadcast Group has announced the appointment of Vincent J. Sollecito as the new Vice President and General Manager of WPEC, the CBS affiliate in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Sollecito brings over two decades of leadership experience in the broadcasting industry. Before joining WPEC, he served as Senior Vice President of Ad Sales at Marquee Sports Network, where he played a key role in the network’s successful launch in 2019. He also held the position of President at ABC National Television Sales.
Throughout his career, Sollecito has held major leadership roles at prominent stations, including ABC 7 Chicago and WABC in New York. His deep understanding of local media and national sales strategy has positioned him as a respected figure in the industry.
Rob Weisbord, Chief Operating Officer and President of Local Media at Sinclair, spoke highly of Sollecito’s appointment. “Vincent brings more than 20 years of industry expertise and a clear strategic vision that aligns with our goals for WPEC,” said Weisbord.
