HPE Collaborates with 2degrees to Power Private AI Innovation in New Zealand
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has announced a strategic collaboration with New Zealand-based telecommunications provider 2degrees to build a private AI platform powered by HPE Private Cloud AI. The partnership is designed to modernize 2degrees’ technology infrastructure while delivering a secure, flexible, and high-performance environment for advanced AI workloads.
The new private AI platform will enable 2degrees to store and process customer data locally, significantly strengthening data security and regulatory compliance. By leveraging an integrated on-premises architecture, the solution also aims to enhance network reliability, optimize performance, and reduce downtime across operations.
Combining secure data management with AI-driven analytics, the platform will support smarter network operations, faster product development, and improved customer experiences. Additionally, the collaboration incorporates NVIDIA-powered infrastructure, helping 2degrees boost network resilience, scalability, and readiness to adapt quickly to changing market demands.
This initiative highlights how telecom providers in New Zealand are increasingly turning to private AI and cloud solutions to drive innovation, improve operational efficiency, and future-proof their digital ecosystems.
